FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE STUDENT’S ARTICULATION IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE

                                                           ABSTRACT
This study explores the multifaceted factors influencing students' articulation in the English language, with emphasis on phonetic training, linguistic environment, technology integration, and socio-emotional elements. It highlights how phonological awareness, exposure to authentic English input, and digital learning tools shape articulation skills. Cultural background and native language interference are also examined as key challenges. The research underscores the need for comprehensive, learner-centered approaches in language instruction. Findings suggest that improving articulation requires both technical and affective strategies. Implications for educators, policy-makers, and curriculum designers are discussed. The study concluded that native language interference remains a critical challenge requiring culturally responsive strategies. Educators must adopt holistic, student-centered approaches to address these multifaceted influences. The study also recommended that Schools should incorporate
explicit instruction in phonetics, stress, and intonation patterns to help students develop precise
articulation.
